Aloha!

We were at anchor at La Haina, Hawaii island of Maui.  What a wonderful place this was.

I took a tour to the top of a dormant volcano… about 9000 ft. high.  We could look down

into the crater.  The picture is of a “silver sword”.  It lives high on the sides of the volcanic

mountain and blooms one time, then die.  We saw many of these, in all stages of

maturity along the roadside.  The pineapple is to die for.  So sweet!  If you get a chance

to get Maui Gold pineaple, jump at it!
